Building the private beta

In week 1 of our public test, our AI monitor surfaced 60+ actionable competitor insights, equipping founders to spot shifts before they make headlines.

We’re helping founders and content teams see, day by day, how AI talks about their market.

We already analysed 1320 prompts and detected 177 competitors with 477 characteristics. 🎊

From June 1–7, we iterated on this report while building a private beta where users can use themselves the product. Today we are the only one that can create these reports.

Early traction (as of June 9, 2025):
  • Engagement: 15 one-on-one interviews → deep user feedback
  • Demand: 24 on the waitlist → strong interest signal
  • Product readiness: 1,320 prompts analyzed & 177 competitors detected → robust back-end evidence
  • Monetization: MRR $0

These numbers show we’ve validated demand, but now must convert waitlisters into active beta users.

What this beta will look like

Imagine you ask: ‘Best CRM for startups.’ Here’s how the dashboard works:

With these results we will make a report on :
  • The presence over time

  • The total mentions per competitor

  • The sources mentioned

One of the issue was that some competitor are sub-product of others. “Zendesk Sell” and “Zendesk” appear like two competitors.
We decided to make a merge duplicates interface to clean up that noise.

Takeaways

1 - Embracing Non-Determinism

Unlike traditional code, AI outputs can vary wildly. Two levers to control this:
  • Temperature: higher → more creative, lower → more repeatable
  • Prompt precision: even one word shift can reshape every result

2 - Feedback-fueled roadmap

Publishing live reports (see our Acer case study) sparked rich user conversations that directly shaped our next features.

Next up: self-service onboarding goes live June 16, and we’ll open beta invitations to everyone on the waitlist.
